'Priyanka Chopra apko sue toh nahi karengi': Shark Tank India 2 Vineeta Singh asks pitcher; the response leaves sharks astounded

In the latest episode of Shark Tank India 2 , two sisters pitched their brand of nightwear and left Sharks emotional and proud at the same time. They introduced their brand name as Midnight Angels by PC, which prompted a question from Vineeta who was reminded of Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra with ‘PC’. And the pitcher's confident answer floored away not only her but all Sharks.

It so happened that Aman Gupta asked the sisters, "What does PC stands for?", and the pitchers revealed they are initials of their name–Parima Chugh and Punya Chugh. To which Vineeta Singh interrupted, “Priyanka Chopra aapko sue toh nahi karengi na”(I hope Priyanka Chopra doesn’t sue you). And the pitchers came out with a pat reply, “PC mai bas uska right thodi na hai, humara bhi hai”(We also have the right to PC not just her alone) and chuckled. Listening to the answer, all Sharks praised them, while Anupam quipped, “Well said”. For the unversed, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is fondly called just ‘PC’ in the film industry.

During the pitch, the two sisters also narrated their success story of how they overcame the financial crisis after their father’s business fell apart. The sisters said that they earned Rs 80,000 in sales in just about two days. Their business boomed in five years and they have even re-invested in their father’s old business to support him. Their story inspired the Sharks and also made them emotional. The sisters also gifted customized nightwear to each Sharks. While, Namita, Aman, and Vineeta opted out of the deal, Peyush and Anupam offered to support them with Rs 25 lakh for 10 percent and Rs 50 lakh debt at 12 percent interest. They counter-offered Rs 75 lakh for 15 percent equity but they refused to accept, hence they walked out without a deal.
