'Picture chal rahi hai free mein': Former Shark Tank India investor Ashneer Grover takes a dig at his airport fiasco
Ashneer Grover took a dig at his ongoing controversy after he was stopped at the airport with wife Madhuri Jain.
It was earlier reported that former Shark Tank India investor Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain were stopped at Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport by the Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW). This was in connection to an LOC (lookout circular) which was issued by the EOW regarding the BharatPe alleged fraud case. However, now Ashneer has taken to his Twitter handle to debunk all the negative reports about him specifying that he is not at a flight risk.
Ashneer shared a picture of him wherein he can be seen giving out a wide smile while looking at the camera. He wrote, “Hello ! Hello ! Kya chal raha hai India mein ? Filhaal to Ashneer stopped at airport chal raha hai janab. So facts: I had not received any communication or summon from EOW since FIR in May till 8 AM today 17 morning (7 hours after returning from airport). I was going to US from 16-23 November. At immigration they said LoC laga hua hai sir - EOW se check kar ke batate hai.” Take a look at the tweet.
He went on to state, “I found it strange as have travelled 4 times internationally since FIR filed in May - never been a problem and I had not even been summoned once. Flight left in meantime anyways - EOW folks directed Immigration to let us out so that we can return home. Today morning EOW summon was home delivered - will cooperate as always.”
On a concluding note, Grover specified that there is no drama surrounding this case as it is being projected. He went on to say, “No drama. LOC hatane ka process hai - I am not a flight risk - easy to prove hai. Baaki aapko jo chhaapna hai chhaapo. Picture chal rahi hai free mein - maze lo. Baaki premature obituaries bahut baari log likh chuke hai - ‘Jatt mareya tad maniye jad terami howe’ ! Don’t pronounce me dead till 13 days after you’ve burned me at the pyre.” Many of his followers supported him and praised him for handling all his naysayers in a sassy manner.
