Palak Tiwari recently made a rather unexpected revelation about her mother and veteran actress Shweta Tiwari. Palak said that contrary to the image that her mother has of a cool mom, she is actually a ‘typical Desi aunty.’ Not only this but Palak also said that she is still very much dependent on Shweta for money.
Talking about the same, Palak in an interaction with Curly Tales was heard saying, “People have this impression that my mom is really cool.” However, contrary to this belief, Palak Tiwari said that her mother Shweta Tiwari will ask her questions even if she asks for just Rs 20 from her. Shweta is often reprimanded for eating outside food by her mother who asks her to binge on home-cooked foods. Palak said that when she was in school, Shweta would have asked her if she needed anything but now her mother just asks her to not ask for more money.
Even though many might be thinking that Palak Tiwari is in full charge of her life since she started earning and has also made her Bollywood debut recently, she revealed that it is her mother Shweta Tiwari who controls all her transactional cards. Palak said that whenever she is purchasing anything, it is her mother who gets all the OTP and Palak has to call and beg her to give her the same. The Kausauti Zindagii Kay actress also enquires about the kind of purchase that Palak has done and occasionally taunts her asking, “Does money grow in trees?”
By the time, Shweta Tiwari’s interrogation around her daughter’s transactional activities is done, Palak Tiwari’s OTP expires and she has to disturb her mother again for the same. The Main Hoon Aparajita actress asks her daughter not to bother her in the middle of her shoot in such a scenario. Palak also revealed to be lying about shopping abroad to her mother saying that she only indulged in the same since a discount was going on. On the work front, Palak made her Bollywood debut with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan alongside Salman Khan.
