‘Naha ke aaya hun’: Sajid Khan makes his first public appearance post Bigg Boss 16 at Mission Majnu screening
Filmmaker and ex Bigg Boss 16 contestant Sajid Khan interacted with paps after a long time at Mission Majnu’s screening last night.
Last weekend was a pretty emotional one inside the Bigg Boss 16 house. This is because two of the most active contestants of this season walked out of the reality show, leaving their Mandali members heartbroken. While singer and social media sensation Abdu Rozik took a voluntary exit due to his professional commitments, filmmaker Sajid Khan got a teary farewell by Bigg Boss before he was let go so he can start work on his next film. He bid adieu to all his housemates and left the BB house after 106 long days.
Post his exit, Sajid reunited with Abdu at his sister Farah Khan’s house. But he made his first public appearance last night at the screening of Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna’s film Mission Majnu . He posed for the paparazzi and humbly shook his head when someone called him the ‘asli winner’ of Bigg Boss 16. Another shutterbug told the filmmaker that everybody was missing him. To this, Sajid hilariously replied, “Kya baat kar raha hai? Tere liye naha ke aaya hun main.” This left everyone in splits.
When he entered Salman Khan ’s reality show as a contestant last year, majority of netizens demanded his eviction. This is because he was accused of sexual harassment by over 9 women during the Me Too Movement in India. However, he entertained audiences during his stint on the show and it looks like he managed to change some minds. In the comment section of this clip, one netizen shared, “Yes, he is a good person❤️every one needs chance to improve and he has proved himself.” Meanwhile another comment read: “Love or hate but u can't ignore the fact that he was the mastermind of bb16....and mandli was the highlight of this season...sajid made bb16 entertaining 🙌🙌🙌🙌...but people will hate him even his alligations were not proven till today...by some b grade actresses.”
