‘Log kaan bharte hain’: Ankita Lokhande talks to Munawar about her break up with Sushant Singh Rajput on Bigg Boss 17

One of the biggest reasons behind Ankita Lokhande’s popularity is her work in the beloved TV show Pavitra Rishta. She won hearts as Archana while her chemistry with Sushant Singh Rajput aka Manav became a highlight of the daily soap. On-screen romance soon turned into a real life fairytale. Sushant even proposed to Ankita for marriage on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. But after 6 long years, the two called it quits. They never opened up about the break up because they didn’t want a ‘tamasha’ and in 2021 Ankita tied the nuptial knot with Vicky Jain. Well, the actress has now opened up about parting ways with Sushant on Bigg Boss 17.

The actress is currently participating in Salman Khan’s reality show as a contestant with her husband. In an unseen video, which has surfaced on social media, Ankita can be seen talking about her break up with Sushant to housemate Munawar Faruqui. The actress remembers how nobody was there to support her and she was all alone when Sushant and she parted ways. When Munawar asked if there was any particular reason for the split, Ankita replied, “No, there was no reason.” She went on to share, “I was blank. Ek raat mein cheezein palti hai meri life mein.”

Munawar further asked if there was any clash between them. To this, Ankita responded, “He wanted to.. he was just.. kya tha, jab aap upar chadh rahe hote ho naa career mein, aap ko dus log aur kaan bharte hain. Jo bhi ho raha hoga, mujhe nahi pata uss time.” She went on to add that she never stopped Sushant. Well, netizens are not happy with Ankita’s revelation and are now trolling her for talking about the late actor inside Bigg Boss 17. For instance, one social media user wrote: “What kind of a person does this? Sushant Sir never spoke about it and now that he is gone, she chooses to malign him in this way? Have some conscience Ankita ji...stop playing the victim card!!” Another comment read: “Footage leni hai to apane kam se le re. Har bar Sushant ko kyon lana bich main.”

While Ankita moved on in life with Vicky, Sushant found love again in actress Rhea Chakraborty.
