Ashneer Grover recently announced the release of his first autobiography 'Doglapan' which he penned himself, and his trolls were quick to take a dig at him.
Shark Tank India fame Ashneer Grover ’s ouster from BharatPe company on allegations of misappropriation of funds in March was a big blow to his stakes. Though the businessman alleged that the fintech company ousted him for vested interests, a section of people still believe that he is a cheater. The businessman recently announced the release of his first autobiography Doglapan which he penned himself, and his trolls were quick to take a dig at him.
Taking to Twitter, Ashneer shared a picture of his book and described it as, ‘my incredible life story!’ Alongside he wrote, “After reading this book, either you will immediately resign from your job, or you will have a job all your life. At least, there will be nothing in between. To get absolute clarity in life - read my incredible life story! Order your copy of ‘Doglapan’ now on Amazon.” In another tweet, he informed Twitter users that his autobiography has become a bestseller overnight on the e-commerce site.
Soon after, Twitter users flocked to the comment section and trolled Ashneer. While one of the users wrote, “kya he isme cheating tips?”, Another took a dig at the title of the book, saying, “Book me bhi aisa hi content milega, so instead of wasting money and time on it . Invest them somewhere else.” One of the users added, “now everyone gets to know about how much doglapan he has seen and how much did.”
Doglapan meaning hypocrisy was the term used by Ashneer during his appearance as one of the judges in the first season of Shark Tank India. His dialogue, ‘ye sab doglapan’ became an instant hit and also triggered a meme fest on Twitter. Well, in the upcoming second season of the business reality show, Ashneer is replaced by Amit Jain, the CarDekho CEO and co-founder. The other six judges including Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, Anupam Mittal, Peyush Goyal, Ghazal Alagh, and Namita Thapar have been retained.
