History has just been created in Amitabh Bachchan ’s quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 . Kavita Chawla who is a housewife from Kolhapur has just gone on to become the show’s first crorepati. She will now be seen answering the question for a whopping Rs 7.5 crore.
Talking about the same, the channel released the official promo of the same wherein Kavita Chawla can be seen expressing her joy after she wins Rs 1 crore and becomes the first contestant of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 to do so. Amitabh Bachchan soon announces the final question for Rs 7.5 crore and it will be interesting to see whether Chawla manages to answer this question. According to a news report in The Times Of India, Kavita Chawla has studied till Class XII but showcased an exemplary display of her knowledge while answering the questions on Kaun Banega Crorepati 14. The caption of the promo read, “Kavita Chawla, who is a housewife, won ₹1 crore on KBC 14 to make history. Watch Kaun Banega Crorepati on Monday and Tuesday at 9 pm only on Sony TV.” Earlier, Ayush Garg from Delhi had won Rs 75 lakh this season but Kavita went on to triumph over him by winning Rs 1 crore.

In an interview with the publication, Kavita Garg spoke about achieving this mammoth feat. She said, “I am extremely happy to reach till here. I feel proud that I am the first contestant to win ₹1 crore and I am really hoping and looking forward to answering the ₹7.5 crore question too. My father and son Vivek are with me in Mumbai and nobody in my family knows yet that I have won 1 crore. I want them to see the show and surprise them.” The housewife said that if she wins Rs 7.5 crore, she will send her son to abroad and make her dream home.
