Karan Mehra wants his divorce with Nisha Rawal to be televised publicly like Johnny Depp & Amber Heard, says 'I have nothing to hide'

That Karan Mehra ’s separation from his estranged wife Nisha Rawal was an extremely ugly one is known to all. While Nisha filed a police complaint of alleged domestic abuse and cheating against Karan, the latter alleged that she has conspired against him with these false charges for monetary gains and also accused her of having an extra-marital affair. Now, the actor has also revealed that he wishes for his divorce proceedings with his wife to be televised publicly like that of Hollywood star Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard.

In a recent interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Karan Mehra was asked whether he would like to have his divorce trial to be made public like that of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain actor said, “It doesn't happen in India. This is some area that I never explored but now that I have been in the system for so long--- cases, drafting, lawyers, some things I have learned. So, this system doesn't exist here where you can do a live trial. I would love to, because I have nothing to hide. I say that I have attached 1500 pages, and I have written each one of them myself. And this is after I had no other means, there was no paper from home that I could collect."

For the unversed, Johnny Depp had won his legal battle against his former wife Amber Heard. Talking about Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal, the ex-couple tied the knot in 2012 after a long courtship. They also have a son Kavish from their marriage. However, their separation in 2021 came as a shocking development both to their industry friends and to the fans. Nisha accused Karan of being physically violent with her and a picture of her blood-stained forehead had also gone viral on social media.
