Karan Kundrra is the highest earning Bigg Boss contestant in the reality show's history despite not winning

Bigg Boss 15 has ended, but the news around the show is making headlines everywhere. While Karan Kundrra became one of the most loved and appreciated contestants of the year, there is another accolade that the actor-host earned.

According to inside reports, Karan Kundrra is not only the highest-paid participant of the year, but he is also the highest-paid in the history of Bigg Boss.

A source revealed, "The actor boasts a massive fan following across the nation, and the audience loved watching him on screen. Owing to the same reason, Karan Kundrra lifted a whooping cheque worth 4.5 crores. No one in the history of Bigg Boss has touched this number before."

Karan Kundraa spent the full 17 weeks in the Bigg Boss 15 house which from the grand premiere to the grand finale. He had initially made headlines for playing a smart game but quickly his brewing romance with Bigg Boss 15 winner Tejasswi Prakash put him in the spotlight.

The actor finished the game as the second runner up behind Pratik Sahejpal and his girlfriend Tejasswi Prakash. Karan Kundrra who was one of the most popular faces on the show, walked out with an enormous fan base behind his back which he gained through the show.

Earlier, the star also became the first contestant to have record-setting views on his first Live after the show. He succeeded the number of SidNaaz by minting more than 111K impressions. Meanwhile, Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill had 102K views.

Karan and Tejasswi are now painting the town red with their romance. While actress has already gotten by with Naagin 6, Karan is yet to reveal his big career plans after Bigg Boss 15.
