Kapil Sharma responds to a fan who asked for his 'on screen wife' Sumona Chakravarti's phone number: 'Please dial ...'

Kapil Sharma hosted a session of #AskKapil on Twitter on Saturday morning and spent a good deal of time interacting with his fans. The comedian replied to all fan appreciation and requests in his trademark style lived their day. One of the fans in particular seemed to be quite taken with his ‘on-screen’ wife on The Kapil Sharma Show played by Sumona Chakravarti and even asked Kapil for her phone number.

However, it was Kapil’s response to the fan’s query that stole the show as the comedian did pass on a phone number but it wasn’t Sumona’s. Kapil replied to the fan saying he should dial 100 (the police helpline) to be able to speak to his on screen wife.

The fan wrote in his tweet to Kapil, “@KapilSharmaK9 YAAR tumhari onsreen biwi bahut pasand h mujhko..uski smile dekho ..m fida ho gaya ..number milega kya?😃😃#askkapil.” To this the comedian’s reply read, “Please dial 100 n ask them, baat ho jayegi tumhari.”

Kapil Sharma’s comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show has huge fan base in the country which has made all actors of the show household names. Kapil who is busy promoting his recent music video ‘Alone’ also received several requests from fans about their favourite celebrities they would like to see Kapil hosting on the show.

A Shehnaaz Gill fan requested Kapil to have her on his show to which Kapil warmly responded saying he’d love to have her on The Kapil Sharma Show and also heaped praises on her calling her a ‘sweetheart’. Kapil was also asked to get cricketer MS Dhoni on his show to which he said he’d try.

Several of Kapil’s fan who participated in the session lauded him for his new fit avatar and several fans were also curious about his next film release. The comedian also promised a movie announcement soon.
