Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10: Rubina Dilaik finally opens up on her difficult time in marriage with Abhinav Shukla through her performance

After awaiting fans for a bit longer, the makers of Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10 have finally dropped the promo of Rubina Dilaik ’s performance. The actress expressed the difficult moments of his life through her performance in a family special segment. She performed on Shahid Kapoor’s song Bekhayali from his movie Kabir Singh. Through her performance, she conveyed how challenging it was when she was on the verge of divorce with her husband Abhinav Shukla .

The promo starts with Rubina and her choreographer on stage performing contemporary-style dance. The duo is twinning in an all-black attire for their rendition. In the middle of the dance, Rubina says, “I need a divorce”, then a few clips of her wedding pictures with Abhinav flash. Further, at the end of her performance, Rubina is seen interacting with the audience and revealing how difficult a phase it was in her marriage. “Ye lamha mera pura andhkar se bhara…,”she told.

For the unversed, Rubina had confessed on Bigg Boss 14 that her and Abhinav’s marriage had hit a rough patch. They might have been divorced, were it not for the show. Also, they had decided that if things do not improve between them, they would end their marriage. However, when they came to Bigg Boss 14 together, their opinion about each other changed, and felt that they were quite sorted. To note, the duo got married in 2018 at the famous Woodville Palace of Shimla.

Meanwhile, Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10’s weekend episode will surely be an emotional rollercoaster ride. The contestants will be paying tribute to their family members in their performances. Faisal Shaikh will be seen paying a tribute to his squad, Team 07 who are his friends like family. Ali Asgar will be seen dancing in the song ‘Milegi Milegi’ from Stree along with his choreographer and seemingly dedicates the act to his children.
