Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10: Ali Asgar is first contestant to be eliminated, Nia Sharma becomes the top performer

The latest episode of the popular dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10 bid farewell to its first contestant with a heavy heart. It was none other than actor Ali Asgar aka Dadi. However, on the other hand, actress Nia Sharma became the top performer of the week and attained a spot on the golden chair.

Talking about the same, the bottom two contestants based on the judges’ scores and the audiences’ votes resulted in Ali Asgar and chef Zorawar Kalra. However, out of the two, Ali became the first contestant of Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10 to be evicted from the show. The judges and the other contestants were visibly shocked at the same. Ali was known for his impeccable comic timing as Dadi and his act this week was extremely special. After his performance in the ‘Family Week’, his children revealed that they were constantly bullied in school due to Ali playing a woman in his comedy performances on shows. The actor’s kids added that irrespective of this, they are proud of their father because it’s a big thing to entertain others by making fun of yourself. This left the Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki actor in tears. Well, the actor-comedian will truly be missed on the show.

On the other hand, Nia Sharma and her choreographer ascended the golden chair after she became the top performer of the week. Nia became the highest-scoring contestant of the week and thus got a seat in the coveted golden chair. The position was earlier occupied by actor Gashmeer Mahajani. The Ek Hazaron Main Meri Behna Hain actress’ performance was dedicated to her pillars of strength that is her mother and brother who had also come to support her on the show.

This week’s episode of Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10 was truly a heartwarming one. All the contestants paid tribute to their family members. It will be interesting to witness how will the contestants fare in the next week.
