Sheezan Khan recently got bail in the death case of his ex-girlfriend and Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul co-star Tunisha Sharma . The actor walked out of the Thane Central Jail and had an emotional reunion with his mother and sisters. He was charged with alleged abetment of suicide after a case was filed against him by Tunisha’s mother. For the unversed, Tunisha was found hanging on the sets of their TV show. Now, Sheezan has broken his silence on his freedom and the late actress for the first time after getting bail.
The actor spoke to Etimes and said, “Today, I understand the true meaning of freedom and I can feel it. I was in tears the moment I saw my mother and sisters and I am so happy to be back with them.” He further added what he intends to do as he walked out free after almost two and a half months of imprisonment. The Jodha Akbar actor went on to say, “Finally, I am with my family! It’s an overwhelming feeling. All I want to do for a few days is lie in my mother’s lap, eat food cooked by her, and spend time with my sisters and brother.”
Not only this but Sheezan Khan also remembered his former girlfriend Tunisha Sharma. The actor said, “I miss her and if she was alive, she would have fought for me.” The Tara From Satara actor’s sister Falaq Naaz also expressed a sigh of relief after her brother got bail in the case. The Sasural Simar Ka actress said, “We are happy that he is back. We will need some time to process this. Sheezan is finally out, and we are grateful to everyone who stood by us.”
While Sheezan’s lawyer said that the case for the squashing of the FIR filed against the actor will be held on March 9, 2023. Sheezan Khan’s lawyer Shailendra Mishra’s statement said, “It’s nice to see the family together after more than two months. Our case regarding the quashing of the FIR against Sheezan is scheduled to come up for hearing in the High Court on March 9.” Talking about the show Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul, actor Abhishek Nigam has replaced Sheezan in the same.
