'He belongs to Bollywood since birth then why these things?': Sajid Khan's revelation about his father's last rites doesn't go down well with trolls

In the last episode of Bigg Boss 16 , Sajid Khan and Archana Gautam got into an ugly spat over each other’s parents. After this, the filmmaker got emotional and recalled the time when his father died from drinking too much alcohol. He shared with MC Stan that he was just 14 years old when he struggled to arrange money for his father’s last rites. He went on to reveal that Salman Khan ’s father Salim Khan came to his rescue during his tough time. However, his revelation left a section of people wondering how he had no money when he and Salman were childhood friends and his family had a filmy background. While a few people consoled the filmmaker on social media.

Sajid started by saying that Archana thinks he plays the cards of rich and poor. But little did she know that he roamed around in a rickshaw to his relatives’ houses for money at the time of his father’s tragic demise. "Mummy ke side ke rishtedaar the unhone help kiya mayaat ke liye. Lekin jo aadmi ne help kiya na woh tha Salman Khan ka papa Salim Uncle. Daaru pee ke mare the mere papa mere saamne, poora liver phat gaya tha, aankh se khoon, muh se khoon, 2 min mein bistar mein guzar gaye.Jahan pe maine dafnaya tha na waha Salim uncle aaye the aur unhone mujhe paise diye. Un paison se maine 2 mahine ka rashan bhara tha, bijli ka bill bhara tha," he was heard telling MC Stan in the recent episode. Soon after, some people on Twitter called him a liar for narrating the false story. One user wrote, “Why mr #SajidKhan always say he was poor, belong from chopar-pati he Doesn't have money etc etc I mean his mom-dad both were known actors, Salman khan was there chlidhood friend , his both aunts were known actress he belongs to Bollywood from birth then why these things ??” Another commented, “#SajidKhan says he comes from a poor background but then his falily was close to Salman's family What a blatant liar Yukkkk #BB16.” However, one of the person defended him and said, “Guyz don't comment negative on this whatever #SajidKhan said is absolutely right.. I know the place and time is not right to say out this but It's a bloody truth of his & Farah life.. It's Farah who took the charge of house.. Work as a dancer n earn for living.”

Meanwhile, after Sajid Khan and Archana Gautam’s fight, several celebrities like Rahul Vaidya, Gauhar Khan, and Urvashi Dholakia among others have come in support of Archana and lashed out at the filmmaker for his indecent behavior.
