‘Hamara bas TV pe aa gaya’: Ankita Lokhande opens up on fights with Vicky Jain in Bigg Boss 17, shares current status

Two years ago, TV actress Ankita Lokhande and her businessman husband Vicky Jain emerged as the winners of Smart Jodi. Back then, they claimed that they won the reality show because they are real. However, when they entered the Bigg Boss 17 house as contestants, we saw a completely different side of their marriage. There were insecurities, constant arguments and even the mention of divorce. By the end of the show they put all their nasty fights behind and came out stronger. But Ankita and Vicky also left several netizens wondering if their marriage is as perfect as it looked before the show.

Speaking about the same in a chat with Hindustan Times, Ankita stated, “Perfect couple ki ladaai nahi hoti kya? Vahi perfect couple hota hai.” Vicky, on the other hand, clarified that what we saw on the show was not their real marriage because their life as well as their bond is very different outside. Nevertheless, he reassured fans that they don’t need to worry about their marriage because the couple is focusing on only the good things. In fact Ankita shared that they have left everything bad which happened between them inside the BB house.

Talking about the foundation of their relationship, and what keeps them together, Ankita explained, “We are best friends, Tom and Jerry. Hum masti karte hain, nok jhonk hoti hai. What else will you do in marriage? We will be really bored otherwise. Har couple mein ladaayi hoti hai, koi aisa nahi jiski nahi hoti. Hamara bas TV pe aa gaya, aur kuchh nahi hai. Hum voh couple nahi hain jo 24/7 'baby bubu' karte rahein!”

Currently the happy couple are relaxing in their plush home in Mumbai, slowly getting back to normal life after spending over 3 long months in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 17 house.
