'Haath thande padh gaye': Bigg Boss 17’s Ankita Lokhande remembers seeing pic of Sushant Singh Rajput's mortal remains

Ankita Lokhande who is currently seen in Bigg Boss 17 became emotional while talking about her ex-boyfriend and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the latest episode. She was seen telling Munawar Faruqui about the time when she had seen a picture of SSR’s mortal remains. Ankita also heaped praises on the MS Dhoni: The Untold Story actor for being a highly intelligent and brilliant student.

Talking about the same, Ankita told Munawar that she had blocked many people on social media during the time of Sushant’s demise since they used to troll and share nasty comments about her. She recalled her blood boiling when she saw people circulating the picture of Sushant’s mortal remains. She said, “Mere haath thande padh gaye they. It looked like he was sleeping. I just kept looking at that picture and thought there was so much in his brain. I knew him very well. He must have had so much in his brain but all was vanished. You are nothing, you're just a body then."

The Pavitra Rishta actress then went on to speak about Sushant’s family calling them well-educated and recalled his academic achievements. She said, “No. One of his sisters was in the USA, another is in Chandigarh, his father was in Patna and Delhi. Very very well-educated family. Highly intelligent people. He was so intelligent. He used to solve any mathematics. He was an IIT student and in India, he earned 7th rank something in IIT."

When Munawar enquired whether Sushant was also interested in space and astronomy, Ankita beamed in delight and said, “Yes, he even purchased a house on the moon. We can buy land nowadays on the moon, so he made that himself." Lastly, Lokhande got emotional and said he was very broken with something before taking this step which she is unaware about since they were not together anymore during that time. The former couple had started dating while working in the show Pavitra Rishta and were together for 7 long years before parting ways in February 2016.
