Cast of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin resumed shoot on Saturday morning after a massive fire broke out on the sets of the show on Friday evening.
A massive fire broke out on the sets of the popular TV show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin on Friday evening in Film City Mumbai. The fire reportedly caused by a short circuit on set while the cast and crew were busy shooting and while everyone was evacuated safely, the set was extensively damaged.
A members of the cast and crew of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin had to wait patiently as the fire brigade brought the fire under control, to retrieve their belongings. Actress Ayesha Singh who plays the female lead on the show, was seen getting emotional as the she left seeing the set burnt down to ashes. Actor Neil Bhatt , the male lead of the show was also seen helping out in the investigation of the incident late in the evening.
While the entire matter is currently being investigated, the actors of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin showed utmost professionalism as they reported back to work early in the morning on Saturday after the devastating incident. Actress Ayesha Singh posted a picture from the make up room early in the morning as she got ready for shoot and wrote, “Smile and stay strong, the show must go on.” Actress Aisha Sharma also posted a story saying that they team would bounce back stronger. Even child actor Aria Sakaria reported back to work on Saturday morning and posted a picture from the vanity getting ready to shoot.
After the fire broke out on Friday the makers of the TV show which airs on Star Plus issued a statement which read, "The members of the cast and crew of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin are safe and unharmed by the unfortunate fire incident at the set today. We are taking all the necessary steps to ensure everyone's safety and well-being. While we will set up an inquiry to go to the root cause of the fire, our focus is also to work towards providing continuity and keeping the viewers engaged," Cockcrow And Shaika Entertainment.
