Television’s most loved and desirable actress Erica Fernandes is open to being in a relationship. The actress has learned a lot from her past experiences and she wants to get completely healed before getting into the next one. However, she has laid out a few criteria and qualities that she is looking for in her Mr. Right.
In a new interview with Etimes, the Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi actress revealed that she is single and said, “I am not going to rush into any relationship, but I am open to being in one. I have trust issues from past experiences, which is why I’m giving myself time to heal. I don’t want to carry any baggage ahead in my future relationships — I want to heal fully before getting into the next one.”
Further, Erica described her to-be partner to be understanding and respectable. “After having failed relationships, people understand what they really want and do not want in life. For me, in a relationship, there needs to be a certain level of comfort and understanding wherein I can share anything with the person and vice versa. There should be respect between the two and they need to give each other space too,” she added.
Erica started off her career with South films and made revelations about her time spent in the industry. She had said that it wasn't easy to shoot because she was being body-shamed for being too thin. She had mentioned that she used to wear a lot of padding as the directors need a voluptuous body. Later, the actress ventured into Hindi TV serials like Kasautii Zindagii Kay and many more. However, she again would like to do South films. “My last South film was Vizhithiru in 2017 and after that, I got busy doing Hindi TV shows. While I would like to do South films, I haven’t been actively looking for any or auditioning,” she said.
