Eijaz Khan consciously stays away from Bigg Boss, says it is a trigger for him: 'I am still getting over everything'
Ejiaz Khan opens up about still not being over his Bigg Boss experience reveals why he keeps a distance from the show.
Bigg Boss 14 contestant Eijaz Khan opened up about how the experience of being on the reality show changed him. The actor has confessed in an interview why he chooses to keep a distance from the show and said he has still not processed everything that happened on the show.
Eijaz’s Bigg Boss season came to an end in early 2021 while the actor had to exit the house weeks before the grand finale to honour another work commitment. He never found his way back on the show but he told ETimes in an interview that he hopes he was one of the top two and was there to shut off the lights of the house in the finale.
While the actor speaks of closure, he also said that watching the show or its contestants is a trigger for him and he even has dreams about the Bigg Boss house till date. He even remembered late actor Siddharth Shukla who was a part of the Bigg Boss 14 season for the first few weeks as a toofani senior and said that his death traumatized him.
“The more I see Bigg Boss or its contestants, I get triggered. I am still getting over everything that I went through inside that house. I am still figuring out what all I felt. Suddenly, I keep getting dreams about the house, I dream about Sidharth (Shukla) sometimes. His demise also affected me a lot because I was very close to him back then. Sometimes I dream about the fights that I had. They were so cruel. I am not that cruel a person. I'd rather live and let live,” he told the portal.
Eijaz who is currently waiting for the release of a couple his projects said that he hasn’t lived a normal life since he exited the show as another lockdown was imposed after his exit. He added that he has spent a majority of his time with girlfriend Pavitra Punia (who he met in the house) post the show and they remind each other of their time on the show they have had hardly any opportunity during the pandemic to meet other people and simply vent.
