'Drame ki dukaan': Divya Agarwal and her fiance Apurva Padgaonkar turn Circuit and Munna Bhai for a party, get trolled

Divya Agarwal and her fiance Apurva Padgaonkar recently attended a theme party. They took inspiration from Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi’s characters from Rajkumar Hirani’s Munnabhai MBBS and turned up as Circuit and Munnabhai. While Divya wore a black t-shirt paired with denim and accessorised it with gold chains just like Circuit, Apurva wore a doctor’s court over his casual attire to be Munnabhai. Their video has surfaced online and triggered several harsh reactions from netizens.

In the clip, Divya and Apurva together for the shutterbugs. Divya can be seen acting like Circuit as she says, “Bhai ne bola hai karne ka toh karne ka.” Apurva, on the other hand, tries Munnabhai dialogue, “Pehle form bharne ka phir andar aane ka.” The two giggled and happy interacted with paparazzi in the video. In reaction to Divya and Apurva’s get up, a netizen joked saying, “Munna and circuit from Meesho.” “Sasti aanch pr pake hue Munna Bhai,” said the second user. “Drame ki dukaan phle avhi lagti thi but iske chal chalan do kaudi ke hai,” commented third user. “Overacting k pese Kato inke,” read a comment. “What’s wrong with her , y so overacting,” read another comment. Divya, known for her roles in reality shows MTV Splitvilla and Bigg Boss OTT, has taken up the new role of host. She is hosting relationship based reality show, K.I.N.K (Kiss Ishq N Konnections). In the recent interview, she opened up about her journey from being contestant to host. “In the beginning, it felt like a big opportunity and I was a bit overwhelmed too. I didn’t know that I’d be able to do this confidently. Ever since I was a contestant, my journey has been looked at like, “Let’s see how she will be able to do it.” So, that nervousness was there. But when I went there in front of the contestants, there was confidence in me with that stance. It happened so easily,”she told TOI.
