DID Little Masters Season 5: Nobojit Narzary from Assam takes home the winner's trophy at the finale

The finale of the popular dance reality show, DID Little Masters Season 5 concluded yesterday (June 26). Amidst a plethora of talented dancers, the show finally found its winner in 9-year-old Nobojit Narzary who hails from Assam. The show was judged by Remo D’souza, Sonali Bendre , and Mouni Roy .

Nobojit Narzary had managed to impress the judges throughout the entire season by acing dance forms like hip hop, contemporary, and freestyle. He had given a sizzling performance in the title track of Race 3 as his finale act. Take a look at his performance.

While Nobojit Narzary took home the winner’s trophy, Appun Pegu emerged as the first runner-up on the show. Narzary furthermore won a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh. While Pegu won a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh. The show had started airing on March 12 on Zee TV and since then had struck a positive chord with the audience due to its skilled contestants.

DID Little Masters Season 5 was hosted by Bharti Singh and Jay Bhanushali . The mentors on the show were choreographers Paul Marshal, Vartika Jha, and Vaibhav Ghuge. The other finalists of the show who had given a tough competition to Nobojit Narzary were Rishita, Sagar, and Aadyashree.

Talking about Nobojit Narzary, the 9-year-old had been passionate about dancing right since his childhood but he only started learning it actively in the past two years. He also lives with his dance teacher since his father was not supportive of his interest in dancing. However, it has been revealed that his father is now accepting of his passion for dancing, looking at his glorious journey on the show.

Speaking to India Today after winning DID Little Masters Season 5, Nobojit Narzary said, “I had never thought I would win. Now that I have won I am so happy. The moment I won, it felt like I was seeing a dream."
