'Couldn’t have asked for a better birthday': Rahul Vaidya welcomes wife Disha Parmar & his newborn daughter home; shares video

Rahul Vaidya turned a year older yesterday(September 23, 2024). The singer celebrated his birthday by welcoming his wife-actress Disha Parmar and newborn daughter home. Taking to Instagram, he shared a video offering his fans to inside celebration. The couple were recently blessed with their first child, a baby girl on September 20, 2023.

In the clip, the Bade Acche Lagte Hain actress was seen walking towards her home along with Rahul and her baby. She was welcomed by her mother-in-law with aarti and gifted a necklace set. Their home can be seen decorated with balloons and cartoons. From toys to clothes, there are several gifts for the newborn. “23rd sept 2023 will be the most special day in our lives! Earlier, Rahul shared a picture of a baby elephant to announce the arrival of his daughter. He also gave an update about Disha and the newborn’s health. He wrote, “LAXMI Ji aayi hain. We are blessed with a Baby GIRL! The mummy and baby both are healthy and doing perfectly well! We would like to thank our Gynaec @dhruptidedhia who was hands on with the baby right since conceiving to birth and special thanks to our family @dnamjoshi & @masuuma at @criticareasiahospitals for giving us the best delivery experience possible! And we are elated! pls bless the baby.”

Several celebrities including Akanksha Puri, Mouni Roy, Rashami Desai, and Neil Nitin Mukesh among others congratulated the couple. “Heartiest congratulations to you and the family my dear brother. So so happy for you all. Maa Laxmi has arrived at your home ❤️🤗🙏🏻. God bless,“ wrote Neil. While Akanksha commented, “Congratulations @rahulvaidyarkv ❤️ You always wanted a baby girl 😍 So so happy for you !! waiting to see your princess,..lots of love to all of you.” Meanwhile, Disha and Rahul tied the knot in 2021. Rahul proposed to Disha during his stint in Bigg Boss 14.
