Actor Sheezan Khan who had recently got bail in his former girlfriend Tunisha Sharma’s death case has now gotten permission to travel to Argentina and participate in the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. However, this news has left Tunisha’s mother Vanita Sharma extremely disappointed. She has broken her silence on the matter and has reacted strongly.
Speaking to ANI about the same, Vanita Sharma said, “I have heard that Sheezan has been offered reality shows, including Khatron Ke Khiladi. What message are these channels wanting to impart to society by giving a chance to someone undertrial for a serious offence u/s 306 of IPC and against whom the police have submitted a chargesheet of 524 pages?” She also added that Sheezan Khan being allowed to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 will give a wrong message to the youth of today that committing crimes is an easy leeway to get onboard in these reality shows. She went on to say, “Our children & aspiring actors will feel that committing crimes is the easiest way to get through these reality shows.”
The Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul actor had filed an application to the court to get back his passport after he got his bail. The court has granted permission to Sheezan Khan to travel abroad till July 10, 2023. According to the Times Of India, the actor’s lawyer said, “We are grateful to the honourable court that has permitted Sheezan to travel abroad for Khatron Ke Khiladi.” Sheezan had also reportedly revealed that he was sure that justice would not be denied to him.
The Jodha Akbar actor was arrested after a case was filed against him by Tunisha Sharma’s mother for alleged abetment of suicide. He was arrested on December last year. He got bail on March 5, 2023 after spending almost three and a half months in prison.
