She took to Twitter and shut the trolls saying, “Being a shark doesn’t mean we are not entitled to our independent values & speaking candidly so if I don’t invest in a fellow sharks competition, that’s me, no regrets & if I call out toxicity & don’t join the ignorant that celebrate people w lack of integrity.. that’s me :)” She added another tweet in which she shared Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw’s quote that read, “I learned long ago never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty and besides, the pig likes it.”

Sharing the quote, Namita wrote, “ So relevant and true.”Soon after people slammed her for comparing Shark Tank India fans to a pig. One of the Twitterati commented, “Using Word like Pig for others Mam don’t forget no one knows About Emcure and So-called Namita Thapar. If god has given you publicity maintain it.
