So… after months and weeks and days of waiting, it is now just a few hours when the Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss will premiere. This season of Salman Khan hosted shows is definitely one of the most awaited seasons of all time. And with the changing times and trends, the makers of the show also seem to be keeping up with it. This season definitely promises to be different from most of the previous ones. And when asked the reason for the same, she said “I am saying so because the show had a smaller number of tasks as compared to the previous seasons. It's in these tasks that the contestants can be seen challenging and pushing their limits. And, it is in these tasks that one can identify which contestant works under pressure and who doesn’t! All the friendships and enmity get unveiled there only… during the tasks!”

Never before theme of time travel

There have been many themes which were adopted by the makers of Bigg Boss. But, this time round, instead of adopting a new theme, the makers have now adapted the theme of time travel. If the promos and the trailer of the show which shows glimpses of time travel are anything to go by, then, this season is already a winner, even before it starts!

The supercool promo of the show featured Salman Khan, who was seen talking to the past and future of his AI-generated versions! How cool is that!

A donkey on the show!
There was a particular season of Bigg Boss, which was the sixteenth season. Besides the contestants there was also a cutie dog who was seen on the show. It was later revealed that the dog's name is Maahim, which was of the breed Saint Bernard. Even though the makers did not term it as a therapy dog, but, the whole purpose of Maahim being on the show was to act as an emotional anchor to all those who were heartbroken and distorted for various reasons on the show. The svelte Tina Dutta was the one who was seen cuddling and sharing her thoughts with Maahim.

Well… this time round, the show will see the presence of a donkey, who will be a part and parcel of the Salman Khan hosted show. The fact that, donkey is a pet whose name is Max and it belongs to Advocate Gunaratna Sadavarte, who will be seen as a contestant on the show this season. What ‘role’ does Max play in people’s happiness and sadness is what remains to be seen!

The trailers and teasers definitely play a key role in the success of any show. Bigg Boss 18 is no different. Ever since the time the show’s makers started dropping the teasers and the trailers of the show, it really has upped the curiosity factor about the show. One of the pics of Salman Khan with the spiritual leader Aniruddhacharya aka ‘Pookie Baba’ went super viral. The said pic was the one where spiritual leader Aniruddhacharya ji is seen gifting the holy book of the religious Bhagwat Gita to Salman Khan.

Even though the final list of contestants is yet to be out, the names which have been making the rounds so far are definitely interesting. While the participation of the spiritual leader Aniruddhacharya ji is not yet clear, the other names who have been confirmed are TV actor Vivian D’Sena, who had divorced his wife Vahbiz and got married to an Egyptian journalist and eventually, got converted to Islam.
