Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui celebrates birthday with his son; Abhishek Kumar claims he played better
While Munawar Faruqui celebrates his victory with son Mikhail, Bigg Boss 17 runner up Abhishek Kumar calls himself a more deserving winner
On 28th January, we witnessed the grand finale of Bigg Boss 17, where Salman Khan announced the winner. Victorious, Munawar Faruqui returned home with the trophy, title, a cash prize and a brand new car. But first he celebrated his 32nd birthday with Salman, MC Stan and others in the host’s chalet. Well, now that Munawar is back home and has reunited with his son Mikhail, another celebration was obviously on the cards! In a cute video which has gone viral on social media, the stand up comic can be seen cutting his birthday cake with Mikhail, who seems overjoyed by his daddy’s victory.
Munawar also shared a picture of his son proudly posing with the Bigg Boss 17 trophy. While his fans and his family celebrate Munawar’s victory, there are some who feel first runner up Abhishek Kumar was a more deserving winner. Isha Malviya and Samarth Jurel were some of the first to point this out, followed by an uproar on social media. Well, a video of Abhishek claiming the same has now surfaced on the internet. This interview clip was shot right after the Udaariyaan actor exited the BB house post the grand finale. Abhishek shares that Munawar has a huge fan following and beating it would be impossible.
However, Abhishek goes on to add that he played better and was more deserving than the stand up comic, which many fans agree to. Talking about the feedback he received after coming out of the BB house, Abhishek shares that many have told him that he lost only because of Munawar’s fan following. Sadly, the actor is being trolled by Munawar’s fans in the comment section. One social media user wrote: “Isi waja se tum nahi jeete. This attitude of yours”, whereas another comment read: “Harne ke bad sab ese hi bolte hai 😂.” A third nasty comment read: “Finel me bhi uski wajah se phucha tu bhai.”
Who do you think was a more deserving player this season– Munawar or Abhishek?
