The new season of Bigg Boss 17 is rumored to be on the cards soon with the makers starting to rope in potential contestants. Amidst several speculations, now we hear that former Bigg Boss 16 contestant Sumbul Touqeer Khan’s father Touqeer Hasan Khan is in talks with the makers to participate in the show. Yes, you heard that right! Rumors are rife that he might be seen in the 17th season very soon.

According to a news report in Tellychakkar, the makers of Bigg Boss 17 have approached Sumbul Touqeer Khan’s father for the same. Talks are on between the two parties and if everything goes well, he might be seen on the show. One of the netizens reacted to the news by saying, “Ab Tina ki Mummy ko bhi Bulao.” For the unversed, several netizens wanted Tina Datta’s mother to be a part of Bigg Boss 17 too after her entry on the family week of Bigg Boss 16 had gone viral.

Meanwhile, talking about Sumbul Touqeer Khan’s father, he grabbed several eyeballs on Bigg Boss 16 after he had appeared occasionally on the same for showing the right path to his daughter on the show. However, his telephonic conversation with his daughter wherein he criticized Tina Datta and Shalin Bhanot had not gone down well with many fans. Salman Khan had also called him out for the same and he was also accused of talking to his daughter under false pretence. Tina’s mother had also lashed out at him for his choice of words against her daughter. He recently made headlines for remarrying. He along with his daughters had an intimate celebration for the same.

Not only this but Sumbul Touqeer Khan’s former Imlie co-star Fahmaan Khan had accused her father of allegedly playing a role in their friendship going downhill.
