Bigg Boss 17 Promo: Karan Johar backs Ankita after Vicky’s dad called her mom; fans slam latter for blaming his wife

Earlier this week, the loved ones of Bigg Boss 17 contestants entered the reality show for family week. While Munawar Faruqui and Mannara Chopra reunited with their sisters, Arun Srikanth Mashettey got a special surprise from his daughter and his wife. But the week was difficult for Ankita Lokhande, who was stumped with a revelation made by her mother-in-law, Vicky Jain’s mother Ranjana Jain. During a one-on-one conversation with the actress, Vicky’s mother revealed that after Ankita kicked him playfully, his father called her mother. Vicky’s father asked Ankita’s mother if she also used to kick her husband like the actress did.

This left Ankita extremely upset because her father passed away just a few months ago. However, the actress did not share this with Vicky. She was deeply hurt but continued to apologize to him and his family. Well, tonight on Weekend Ka Vaar, host Karan Johar will discuss this topic without revealing what Vicky’s parents did. The filmmaker will back Ankita and will state that Vicky could have asked what happened. Later Vicky will ask Ankita about the same and the latter will finally share the truth. Sadly, the conversation won’t go as Ankita’s fans would have liked.

In the promo, Vicky asks Ankita how her father would have reacted to the situation. He says, “Ek father ko woh feeling aa sakti hai ki nahi aa sakti?” Vicky goes on to tell Ankita that when she is unable to deal with a problem, the way in which she reacts to it doesn’t look right on national television. Netizens are now slamming Vicky for putting the blame on the actress. A social media user shared: “Omfggg Vicky seriously Shifting the Blame on Ankita 😢”, whereas another netizen wrote: “I can’t believe Vicky is blaming Ankita rather than apologising for his parents!” A third angry netizen pointed out: “Vicky is the prime example of how to Gaslight someone.”
