Bigg Boss 17 Day 77 Highlights: Salman Khan and Dharmendra ring in New Year; Neil and Rinku leave the BB house

Bigg Boss 17’s host Salman Khan began last night’s New Year’s Eve episode with an update about Ayesha Khan’s condition. He shared that she is recovering and is much better now. Up next Bollywood’s Bhaijaan invited Mika Singh to the stage along with his co-hosts and brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan. They were followed by Dharmendra, who was introduced as ‘the bestest in the whole industry’ by Salman. It soon turned into a musical evening with Mika’s voice and Dharam paaji’s shayari. They were later joined by Krushna Abhishek as Jaggu Dada. The episode became even more star-studded when Bobby Deol sent a sweet virtual message lauding his father and his incredible work.

The guests and Salman went on to play spin the wheel where Dharam Paaji flaunted his shayari skills, followed by a push-up challenge, hook steps and lots of fun! When Salman later connected with the contestants, they won Dharmendra over with their performances on his unforgettable melodies. In a special task on the occasion of New Year’s, Salman gave contestants a chance to mend their broken bond with any housemate. Abhishek Kumar chose Isha Malviya whereas Ankita Lokhande tried to sort out differences with her husband Vicky Jain. Munawar Faruqui, on the other hand, picked Mannara Chopra.

The fun came to a pause when Salman announced that Rinku Dhawan has been evicted from the reality show. After Salman took their leave, the contestants rang in the New Year with Arbaaz and Sohail. They enjoyed game night where they competed for hampers full of goodies! Mika also joined the housemates to add a musical twist to their New Year’s Eve. When contestants got a break from celebrations, Ankita discussed with Munawar how overconfident Anurag Dobhal is about winning the trophy. Anurag and Abhishek, on the other hand, talked about Munawar and his ‘reality’. Later, Krushna entered the BB house as Jaggu Dada. He tickled their funny bone before dancing the night away with the housemates.

As he geared up to leave the BB house, Krushna announced that after Rinku another contestant will be eliminated tonight– Neil Bhatt. While Neil bid the housemates goodbye, Anurag questioned if this was based on audiences’ votes. Bigg Boss himself clarified that Neil and Rinku’s double eviction is indeed a result of votes.
