Bigg Boss 17 Day 5 Highlights: Neil loses his cool at Vicky, Ankita's statement creates a stir in the house

The fifth episode of Bigg Boss 17 saw tensions flaring that too in the middle of the night. Forget sleeping, many contestants locked horns with each other. Things even threatened to turn physical.

Talking about the same, Ankita Lokhande and Aishwarya Sharma get into a verbal spat. Mannara Chopra expresses disappointment with Soniya Bansal’s behavior towards her. Mannara asks Soniya to not judge her qualifications, work, or the time when she was selected. She furthermore calls Bansal a stand-by contestant to which the latter calls Chopra ‘Gawar.’ The contestants groove to the Bigg Boss anthem after which Khanzaadi can be seen telling Vicky Jain that her fight with Abhishek Kumar is troubling her.

We see all is not well between the two couples, Ankita-Vicky and Aishwarya-Neil Bhatt. Ankita accuses Aishwarya of making weird faces at her and speaking to her rudely. However, Ankita tries talking to Aishwarya and they soon patch up. We see the trio of Anurag Dhobal, Arun Mahashetty, and Sunny Arya call themselves Om Jai and Jagadish. Mannara expresses disappointment with Munawar Faruqui, Ankita Lokhande, and Isha Malviya for enquiring about her family. She hinted that she wants to be known for her individuality and not as Priyanka Chopra’s sister.

We see things getting heated up between Ankita and Vicky. The actress accuses her husband of not giving her enough time and avoiding her which leaves him frustrated and he lashes out at her. However, the two patch up later. We then see a huge fight break out between Abhishek and Khanzaadi. It soon escalates into Ankita locking horns with the female rapper after she accuses the Pavitra Rishta actress of doing drama since she is a TV actress. Ankita blurts out a statement wherein she says in Hindi, “You guys are been seen because of us on TV.” This makes Anurag, Sunny, and Arun upset and they ask Ankita to apologize. Soon Neil and Vicky also get into an ugly brawl wherein the latter is accused of getting physical with Neil. Neil gets infuriated and even goes to hit Vicky but its stopped by his wife Aishwarya and Abhishek. Ankita breaks down saying that her statement was never meant to belittle a particular community.
