Bigg Boss 17 Day 40 Highlights: Salman Khan gets miffed with Anurag Dobhal; Ankita Lokhande breaks down in tears

Host Salman Khan kickstarted the Weekend Ka Vaar episode with a task where the housemates had to name people who are trying to control other housemates while victims become the puppets. Vicky Jain and Munawar Faruqui got majority votes for being the puppeteer, and Sana for being the puppet. During the task, Abhishek named Arun and Sunny as a follower of Vicky which left both of them agitated. Sana and Jigna engaged in an argument where Sana blamed her for being rude. Salman then said Mannara, Aishwarya, Ankita, Tehelka, Jigna, Arun, Khanzaadi, Isha, Samarth and Abhishek have become Vicky or Munawar’s puppets. except for Neil and Rinku. He said Neil and Rinku knew what puppeteers are doing but they didn’t talk up.

Further, Salman lectured Vicky and Munawar over their stupid effects of planning, which looked extremely selfish. He compared the two to the politicians who only spoke and showed their faces when the election was near and then vanished once they won the election or the elections were over. He told the housemates that Munawar and Vikki together discuss the housemates' game to get the hang of the number game. He openly talked about their discussions and how they think Sana, Samarth, Sunny, and Arun are weak players. He mentioned that Vicky seems insecure in the game and no one in the house is daring enough to play an open game.

The host pointed out at Anurag Dobhal and said how he uses his brosena against him. He slammed Anurag for saying that he earns money from his fans. He got annoyed and stated, "Next time you put something on to me na, be careful. Be very careful. Because your army is maybe a part of my fan club. Fanclub chodo like brothers." When Anurag tried to explain, the superstar got angry and said, “I don't want to talk to you, Anurag. Somebody who says that 'My house runs because of them." Anurag further admitted and said, "Yes, they have made me what I am today."

During the episode, Salman also questioned Ankita Lokhande whether her relations were because of Vicky's strategy, however she denied. She said the bond that she shared with Khanzaadi and Mannara Chopra was her own choice and it was real.When she talked to Salman about sharing a bond with Mannara, Mannara denied having any bond with her. After Salman made an exit, Mannara and Ankita got into an heated argument where Ankita called Mannara ‘dumb’ and ‘mad’, the latter blamed her for taking advantage of her lowest point. Amidst this, Mannara walked away saying, "I don't want to be friends with you." Listening to the statement, Ankita breaks down.

During the episode, Salman mentioned how Vicky was seen holding someone's hands but he doesn't mention the name. He gave hints about Sana but mentioned that it is also an innocent equation. The episode also witnessed the special guest appearance of cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan, who had come to promote his upcoming film 800.
