Bigg Boss 16: Shalin Bhanot gets severely punished for his violent behavior towards Archana; netizens are divided

Aggression has been a common problem in the last few seasons of Bigg Boss. When so many celebrities of different personalities come together under one roof, friction is bound to happen. Well, Bigg Boss 16 is no different. The second captaincy task took place between Gautam Vig and Shiv Thakare last night. But it was Shalin Bhanot and Archana Gautam who stole the limelight. This is because during the task, in the heat of the moment, Shalin shoved Archana. She along with several other contestants demanded his eviction from the show.

While Shalin was not kicked out of the show, he did get two severe punishments. Bigg Boss announced that the actor will never be able to become the captain of the house for the rest of the season. Shalin was further nominated for the next two weeks. Well, many contestants felt that his eviction would have been a fairer decision. Audiences, on the other hand, are divided. While some are objecting to the punishments that Shalin has deserved, others feel he should have been ousted for his violent behavior.

In the comment section of Mr Khabri’s post, one fan shared, “Well done big boss and tell him stop overacting please and he need always ladies support alone he is nothing”, whereas another netizen wrote: “Umar ko nikal diya tha ,,shalin ko kyun bb support kar rahe hai ....?” For the uninitiated, Umar Riaz had to leave Bigg Boss 15 after he tackled Pratik Sehajpal to the ground during a task. Meanwhile, many unhappy netizens are also claiming that Shalin is trying to be like Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla. A comment read: “Trying to be sidharth lite. O stupid u can never be.”
