Bigg Boss 16: Fans accuse makers & guests of trying to dull Archana’s sparkle, trend ‘Stop Targeting Archana’

Every year we see two types of contestants on Salman Khan ’s reality show Bigg Boss-- those who reach the top 5 without doing much because of their fan following and those who win hearts along the way by entertaining the audiences and making a place in our hearts. Bigg Boss 16 ’s Archana Gautam falls in the second category. She did not have a huge fan following when she entered the reality show. But thanks to her honest views and entertaining personality, she emerged as one of the most loved contestants. However, netizens feel that she is now being targeted by makers as well as guests.

On the weekend episode, producer Sandiip Sikcand and senior journalist Dibang joined Salman Khan on stage to share their opinions on the show as well as contestants. Well, netizens feel that their visit demotivated Archana because they unnecessary grilled her and didn’t give her a chance to talk. Many fans are now trending ‘Stop Targeting Archana’ on social media. For instance, one angry fan shared, “#BiggBoss16 baht hi boring chal rha hai. @BiggBoss @ColorsTV @BeingSalmanKhan Aap log ab #Archanagautam ko aur demotivate mat kro warna show dekhna band ho jaega. Thora archana ko motivate kro k dobara public ka entertainment suru ho skte.”

For the uninitiated, Archana had pointed out that she has never abused anyone whereas MC Stan hurled abuses at her. Replying to the same, Sandiip Sikcand told her that she has a bad vocabulary and the way she body shames or insults others is worse than abusing. Some netizens are also angry with the contestants for trying to make Archana look bad even though she’s attempting to change herself. A good example of this is Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and MC Stan’s conversation about Archana’s outfit in yesterday’s episode. She wore ethnic for the occasion of Makar Sankranti, but the rapper claimed that she is trying to impress audiences.
