Bigg Boss 16: Devoleena Bhattacharjee & Gauahar Khan support Shalin Bhanot after latter is punished

The last episode of Bigg Boss 16 (October 10) was high octane and the highlight of which was contestant Shalin Bhanot being punished by Bigg Boss for allegedly being aggressive towards Archana Gautam. However, the actor has got some support from members of the TV fraternity like Devoleena Bhattacharjee , Gauahar Khan , and Nia Sharma. The actresses have defended Shalin and have instead taken a dig at the current captain of the house, Gautam Vig Singh who had declared Shalin to be unfit to stay in the house.

Talking about the same, Devoleena Bhattacharjee took to her Twitter to state, “Well Shalin is not my favourite but he wasn’t in fault. Yeh #biggboss hai bhai kindergarden nahi. And the first impression of the new captain - khudse dekha nahi but logo k baatein sunkar doshi maan liya.” Take a look at her tweet.

Apart from this, Gauahar Khan also supported Shalin Bhanot in the situation despite confessing that she doesn’t like him on the show. The Bigg Boss 7 winner said, “Jisne aankhon se dekha hi nahi , woh decide kar raha hai , koi doshi hai . Task mein sab bhaagenge nahi , rokenge nahi ??? I don’t even like shaleen , but he was not aggressive at all . It was a task . What naatak yaar . Biggboss mein aayeein hain ya park mein?” Take a look at her post.

Lastly, Nia Sharma also came out in support of Shalin Bhanot. The Ek Hazaron Main Meri Behna Hain actress revealed that she knows Shalin as a friend and that he is not an aggressive person. Sharma’s tweet said, “Shalin’s a friend. Calm and composed. Knows his limits and definitely not someone that loses his cool easily. Punishment wasn’t required.”

Shalin Bhanot has been punished by Bigg Boss wherein he will not be able to become the captain of the house throughout the show. The actor has also been nominated for eviction for the next two weeks. Well, let us see what further drama and twists the upcoming episodes of the show will bring.
