Bigg Boss 15: Challenger Akanksha Puri feels Tejasswi is lagging behind because of her relationship with Karan

Actress Akanksha Puri’s name has been associated with Salman Khan ’s reality show Bigg Boss for many years now. Back in season 13, her ex boyfriend and contestant Paras Chhabra had made shocking claims about their relationship, which made headlines. They broke up even before the show ended and soon reports began doing the rounds about Akanksha entering the BB house as a contestant for season 14. However, these reports turned out to be rumors. Well, Akanksha finally entered the Bigg Boss house for season 15 in last night’s episode, but only as a challenger.

In a chat with Pinkvilla before entering the show, Akanksha shared her views on Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra ’s relationship, which began in BB15. She was quoted saying, “Tejaswi Prakash and Karan Kundra are an extremely good looking couple but I feel that Tejaswi has a lot of potential as an individual in the game. Karan has hosted so many shows, reality shows and has an experience as to how reality shows are, so there is no comparison to his game plan. But Tejaswi, I feel despite having so much more capability is lagging behind because of her relationship. She isn't able to completely focus on her game.”

Akanksha went on to explain that relationships can be dealt with outside the BB house, but when one has entered the show as a contestant, it is important for them to focus on the game and victory. The actress further shared that she feels Shamita Shetty is very close to the trophy. Akanksha has been rooting for the Mohabbatein actress from outside and feels she carries herself quite gracefully on the reality show.

Well, the actress is reportedly out of the show now as she has fulfilled her purpose. But much to the delight of fans, Akanksha has revealed that she would love to take up the challenge of being a contestant next time Bigg Boss is offered to her.
