Bharti Singh talks about being trolled for returning to work; tells Haarsh Limbachiyaa not to rush for second child

Earlier this month, writer Haarsh Limbachiyaa and his comedian wife Bharti Singh welcomed their first child into the world. They announced that they have been blessed with a baby boy and even posed for the cameras while returning home from the hospital. Bharti, who worked till her due date, returned to the set of Hunarbaaz - Desh Ki Shaan to resume shooting just 12 days after her delivery. While many lauded her for being hard-working, there were sadly some netizens who brutally trolled her and accused her of leaving the baby at home to ‘mint money’.

In a recent chat with ETimes, Bharti reacted to the same. She shared, “We have immense blessings from everyone. A lot of people are appreciating me that yes she’s strong, she’s back to work. But there are a few people who have criticised me saying “arre baccha chod ke aagayi itni bhi kya jaldi thi, log humesha bolte hain but humesha positive baaton ko Sunna chahiye not negative.” I am only focusing on positive things right now because we are not angels who have come from the sky or the privileged ones to take rest.”

Bharti Singh returns to work leaving her 12-day son at home; netizens are divided 

The comedian explained that she is like any other normal working mother who has to return to work because there are commitments which one can’t ignore. Such as The Khatra Show, which is their dream and their home production. Bharti shared that sometimes she feels her baby is having a party as she has a huge family to look after him. She went on to promise, “Bahut jaldi goad mein baby pakad ke aap ko interview doongi.” Bharti also added that she wants to wait to have a second baby. Talking to her husband, she stated, “But I want to tell you Haarsh to wait and not rush for a second baby. People are saying ab beta aagaya hai uski behan bhi honi chahiye. We are not selling clothes to make sets.. (laughs).”
