Ashneer Grover addresses exit from Shark Tank India in new video, has an opportunity for fans missing him on TV
Ashneer Grover's exit from Shark Tank India after season 1 has left fans of the show dismayed. The former shark announces new book and provides his fans an opportunity to meet him.
Ashneer Grover ’s sharp critique and meme worthy catch phrases from Shark Tank India season 1 made him a household name last year. Along with the show, controversies eventually leading up to his exit from his company Bharat Pe kept him in the headlines. However, in the second half of 2022, fans of Shark Tank India missed Ashneer dearly as a second season of the show was announced without him.
The entrepreneur has now addressed his fans with a video and also made a passing mention to his absence from Shark Tank season 2. Ashneer recently announced his autobiography which is titled after his quirky catchphrase and called ‘ Doglapan ’. The book will be released in the month of December and Ashneer is busy with its promotions.
Ashneer may have exited from Shark Tank, but thanks to his book his adherent fans have a chance to get to meet him in New Delhi next month by pre-booking his autobiography. Sharing the news of the meet and greet, Ashneer posted a video and made a passing mention about Shark Tank India season 2 when he said, “Many of you seem to be missing me on TV. Well, we’ve got an opportunity for you to come and meet in Delhi in the month of December.”
It is to be noted that, after the announcement of Shark Tank India season 2, Ashneer has remained silent over his exit from the show and this is the first time since that he has even mentioned his brief TV stint.
Ashneer is being replaced on Shark Tank India season 2 by Amit Jain, the CEO and co-founder of CarDekho. Apart from Amit, Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Peeyush Bansal and Anupam Mittal will continue to serve as sharks on the new season which is expected to arrive on Sony TV in month of December.
