Arjun Bijlani pokes fun at a media report claiming Priyanka Chahar Choudhary gets a hike in fees on Bigg Boss 16: 'show ke beech mein...'

TV actor Arjun Bijlani recently took a dig at a media report that suggested that Bigg Boss 16 contestants’ fee structures are being revised with their popularity on the show. He shared a report that claimed Priyanka Chahar Choudhary has surpassed Sumbul Touqueer in terms of fees. Actually, it said that the increase in Priyanka’s popularity has led her team to demand more money, and now the actress is being paid double the amount she was earlier paid.

Taking to Twitter, Arjun re-shared the article and alongside wrote, “Thanks for letting me know show ke beech mein fees hike hoti hai aur bhi double. Sun raho ho actors !!” Soon after, his fans gave thumbs up to the actor’s savage response on the matter. While one user wrote, “PR exposed. Arjun you are always the best” Another reacted, “The clause of extension always added in the 1st contract so that actor can't demand more money. PH pagal nahi hain. Aur actors bhi pagal nahi hain k only one or 2 will hike fees not others. It applies to everyone.” Check his tweet here:

The said media report also added that the makers have decided to slash the fees of Sumbul, who has been the highest-paid celebrity on Bigg Boss 16. Earlier, she was paid Rs 11 lakhs per week, but according to reports her fees have been cut to half. And Priyanka Chahar Choudhary’s pay has been raised to 10 lakhs per day as per the report.

Meanwhile, Arjun is currently hosting the dating reality show, MTV Splitsvilla X4 with Sunny Leone. The actor started the new year with a resolution to quit smoking. He announced his decision withe a lengthy post on Twitter. Further, the actor will also be seen in a special appearance in Karan Johar’s upcoming movie, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
