All you need to know about K-pop star Aoora who’s entered the Bigg Boss 17 house

Korean singer and composer Aoora has entered the popular reality show Bigg Boss 17 as a wild card contestant. He gained popularity by singing Hindi songs in his own way. In India, he first stole the spotlight when he came up with the rendition of the iconic song Jimmy Jimmy from Disco Dancer featuring Mithun Chakraborty. The chartbuster track was originally composed by the late composer Bappi Lahiri. The Korean artist also received millions of views for his rendition of Swag Se.

For those unaware, Aoora is a South Korean singer, who has been a member of the boy band Double-A and its subunit Aoora and Hoik. He made his debut in 2009 with the song Love Back. He made his solo debut in 2014 with the digital single Body Part. Recently, Aoora won hearts during his visit to India as part of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and South Korea. He left fans surprised when he performed ‘Woh Kisna Hai’ from the movie ‘Kisna: The Warrior Poet’ at the Mathura concert. He garnered a million views on social media as she shared his love for Indian culture during his visit. He took to his social media handle to share the clip with the fans and captioned it saying, “Jai shri Krishna". Miss U Uttar Pradesh....I love Greater Noida , Lucknow , Kanpur, Mathura...Hope we meet again."

Before entering the reality show, Aoora had said that he is fascinated by the fact that he will be living with strangers and will be ‘living together, cleaning together and cooking together’. “I want to make new friends and I enjoy being together. Cultural differences don't matter because there will be new experiences. It will be a learning experience,” he told India Today. About the language barrier, Aoora said that he would try to learn Hindi and teach others Korean in the house.

Meanwhile, Aoora has captivated viewers attention by performing Hindi songs and with his banter with co-contestants ever since he entered the show. In the latest promo, he has opened up about his love life, and said that he had four girlfriends.
