‘Aisa hi hun main’: Elvish Yadav shares statement after slapping a man in a viral video; leaves netizens divided
A video of Elvish Yadav slapping a man in a restaurant took social media by storm. But the YouTuber has now shared the reason behind his actions
Popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav, who emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT season 2, is known for being straightforward. He doesn’t keep things in his heart and says whatever he wants right on the face. That’s what many of his fans admire about him. But in a recent video which went viral on social media, the content creator was seen using his hand instead of his mouth. In the clip, Elvish went and slapped a man sitting in a restaurant that he was exiting. This did not go down well with some netizens, who slammed Elvish for his actions. For instance, one tweet under the video read: “People should stop idolising and justifying such chapris then only will they get a much needed reality check.”
Meanwhile another social media user shared, “whatever was the reason, he shouldnt have done that”, whereas a third comment read: “Success logo ke dimag pe chad jata hye.” But what was the reason behind this shocking action? Well, Elvish has now shared an official statement about the viral video, explaining that the man in the clip abused the content creator and his family. In his statement, Elvish shares, “Naa mere ko shauk hai ladai karne ka, naa mere ko haath uthaane ka shauk hai (Fighting and raising a hand on someone is not a hobby that I have).”

He explained that he keeps to himself and walks normally, obliging for selfies on the way if his fans in the crowd ask for one. But he went on to add, “Par, jo koi peeche se comment pass karta hai, maa behen ki gaali deta hai usko bhi nahi bakshte (But if someone passes a comment from behind or abuses, they are not pardoned).” Elvish also pointed out that he is walking with security and cops in the video, so he hasn't done anything wrong. He stated: “Yeh mera personal tha. Usne mereko personally bola, maine personally jaake sade ke de diya. Aur mujhe koi uss baat ka gum bhi nahi hi ki bhai mujhe regret ho. Aisa hi hun main. (This was a personal matter. He abused me personally and I personally went and gave him one. And I have no regrets about it. That’s how I am).”
After his statement, many of his fans have now come out in support of the YouTuber. One follower shared, “No one is going to tolerate any bad things said about their parents. Well done elvish bhai”, whereas another comment read: “Elvish did nothing wrong. No one would take unnecessary abusive language and ill words, everyone's action would have been same.” However, there are still some netizens who believe that Elvish should be boycotted for his behaviour.
