Vikram's Mahaan set to stream on Amazon Prime this February
Mahaan directed by Karthik Subbaraj is an action thriller and will star Vikram alongside his son Dhruv Vikram.
Karthik Subbaraj directed action thriller Mahaan which has faced delays due to Covid-19 is finally set to get a digital release. The movie stars actor Vikram alongside his son Dhruv Vikram.
Mahaan is Vikram's 60th movie and his first time working with award-winning director Karthik Subbaraj, the project was officially announced on 8th June 2020 and Vikram will play the role of Mahaan a gangster. This will be a return to the gangster genre for the actor with the last movie being the 2008 hit Bheema.
Dhruv Vikram will be playing the role of Dada , and will play a pivotal role in the movie. This will be the first time the father-son duo will be acting together.
The movie will stream in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam on February 10 on Amazon Prime Video .
Amazon Prime Video released the official synopsis for the movie which said - "Mahaan is the story of a man whose family leaves him when he strays from the path of ideological living in his search for personal freedom. However, as he realizes his ambitions he also misses the presence of his son in his life. Having fulfilled his dream of becoming a billionaire, does life give him a second chance to be a father? This story is about how his life goes through an unexpected series of events in this thrilling, action-packed journey."
The movie is produced by Seven Screen Studio, with Shreyaas Krishna on cinematography, Vivek Harshan handling the editing, and Santhosh Narayanan helming the music.
