The show explores themes of patriarchy, child abuse and familial violence. One of the Twitter users reacted, “This series was good watch but I didn't liked how they glorified the police brutality. This was just so messed up in disturbing way,(sic).”The second Twitter user stated, “#Kohrra is good. Really good. Kept me engaged throughout. But why the excessive use of gaalis? And unnecessary sex scenes? And how bold are we getting with those sex scenes - is there no limit to what we can & cannot show? Uske bina content nahi ban sakta? Anyways, good watch,(sic).”
