Shahid Kapoor & Vijay Sethupathi's Farzi trailer gives you an adrenaline rush, fans hail it as 'best combo of Bollywood and Tollywood'

The trailer of Raj & DK’s Amazon Prime series Farzi is finally out. The series consists of a talented star cast that boasts of Shahid Kapoor , Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, and Raashii Khanna. After Family Man, the director-duo once again is all set to present to us a thrilling crime flick that includes an adrenaline cat-and-mouse chase between the protagonists.

Talking about the same, the trailer begins with Sunny (Shahid Kapoor) a talented artist prodigy whose ambitions run high when it comes to wealth. His opening dialogue itself states that he wants to earn so much money that he forgets how to respect it. He along with his team then embarks on a risky endeavor of creating and minting fake notes. On the other hand, Michael (Vijay Sethupathi) is a no-nonsense task force officer who is on a quest to curb this racket of fake notes by hook or crook. We are also introduced to Kay Kay Menon and Raashii Khanna’s characters who are the other players in the game and get intertwined in this web of crime and trickery. Take a look at the trailer.

Talking about the performances, Shahid and Vijay look at their best element and their characters mean business. The Kabir Singh actor is seamless in his act as the ambitious, shrewd, and slick artist-con man and it doesn’t seem that the actor is taking the first step in the digital space. While Vijay is inevitably fiery and intense, adding another feather to his cap with this role. Apart from this, Kay Kay Menon and Raashii Khanna also look impressive in their respective parts adding more intrigue to their characters. The show also stars Bhuvan Arora, Zakir Hussain, Chittranjan Giri, Jaswant Singh Dalal, Amol Palekar, Kubbra Sait, and Regina Cassandra in pivotal roles. The series has been penned by Raj & DK, Sita R Menon, and Suman Kumar. It is all set to be released on February 10, 2023.
