'Season me tadka he nai': Shark Tank Season 3 begins shoot, netizens want Ashneer Grover and Peyush Bansal back

Shark Tank Season 3 shooting has begun and the popular TV show is expected to hit the screens providing a platform to aspiring entrepreneurs who can pitch their business models to sharks and persuade them to invest in their idea. Season 3 will feature Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com founder), Aman Gupta (co-founder and CMO of boAt), Vineeta Singh (co-founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetics), and Amit Jain (CEO and co-founder of CarDekho) as the main sharks.

The upcoming third season will stream on the OTT platform Sony Liv. However, there is still no clarity on the official streaming date of Season 3. A promo video of Season 3 was recently shared on social media by the makers. The caption on the Instagram post was: “Lights (light emoji) Camera (camera emoji) Sharks (shark emoji). The Shark Tank India Season 3 shoot begins! We welcome the Sharks @anupammittal.me, @boatxaman, @namitathapar, @vineetasng, and @amitjain_cardekho for the first schedule. While most Shark Tank fans look forward to the season, a section is not much amused as it misses Ashneer Grover and Piyush Bansal in the show. A fan wrote, “Ashneer nai..Piyush nai ....season m tadka he nai,” while the other said, “Why not other entrepreneurs who have made a good mark ... don't we have other good investors who can invest in new ventures.”

There are others who are also complaining that the current season is not high on excitement and instills boredom. “New sharks need to come in, bore hogye (atleast main toh hogyi),” said a netizen. The other wrote, “ This not the shark we used to love im totally missing @ashneer.grover Sir here….He is The USP of this show. We want peyush and ashneer back.” “Again them?? Half of the time they will say that they have invested into some competitor's company so they are out. Good companies will miss out on their investment opportunity. Without Piyush Bansal ?????nooooo never .please bring him back,” wrote a fan.

Meanwhile, the previous season had Peyush Bansal, while Ashneer Grover was replaced by Amit Jain. The show season, which aired its finale episode on 10 March 2023, saw a total investment of ₹81. 16 crore.
