Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden’s Citadel trailer will leave you wishing April came sooner!
Back in 2015, Bollywood actress and global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas made a mark in Hollywood when she headlined American thriller drama TV series Quantico. She won hearts as Alex Parrish, an FBI agent and prime suspect in a terrorist attack. Well, the trailer of her upcoming thriller series Citadel was dropped today. This time she is playing an undercover agent. While the two shows are poles apart, one reason why we remembered Quantico after getting a glimpse of Citadel is Priyanka’s versatility and ability to keep our eyes glued to the screen, which has remained constant.
The trailer begins with the very handsome Richard Madden telling PeeCee that he remembers being on a train, an explosion that followed and meeting her. But that’s all he recalls. Thinking she’s a fellow spy, he throws a knife at her. Priyanka’s reaction is hilarious! But then she remembers seeing him in her dream. It is revealed that they were a part of a spy agency long back, loyal to no nation. The story and action sequences are gripping while Priyanka and Richard’s on-screen persona made it hard for us to look away. See for yourself:
