OTT Play Awards 2022: Not Michael Jackson but Bhagyashree and Salman Khan invented moonwalk, says Maniesh Paul

Bollywood actress Bhagyashree opted for a gorgeous saree as she made her way to the purple carpet of OTT Play Awards 2022 , held in Mumbai today. She attended the star-studded event to receive an award on behalf of her actor son Abhimanyu Dassani, who won in the category of Best Debut Male- Film for his performance in Meenakshi Sundareshwar. Well, Bhagyashree also revealed what she is binge-watching on the digital platform. The actress recently revisited Gangs of Wasseypur, and even enjoyed watching Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein and Delhi Crime.

Well, soon after she gave an acceptance speech on Abhimanyu’s behalf and thanked everyone present, host Maniesh Paul joined her on stage for a little chat. The anchor put his most entertaining foot forward and made a huge revelation. Maniesh claimed that it was not King of Pop Michael Jackson who introduced the world to moonwalk. That’s right! The Jugjugg Jeeyo star joked that it was Bhagyashree and her Maine Pyar Kiya co-star Bollywood’s Bhaijaan Salman Khan who invented the move with their song Dil Deewana.

The gorgeous Bhagyashree made her big Bollywood debut with Maine Pyar Kiya. Her chemistry with Salman was an absolute hit, and so was their hook step in the romantic track. But today she attended OTT Play Awards 2022 not as an actor but as a proud mother! Abhimanyu began his journey as an actor with Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota and went on to give us a taste of his versatility in Meenakshi Sundareshwar, opposite Sanya Malhotra, which was a sweet love story.
