Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur, Kalki Koechlin, Jim Sarbh, Shashank Arora and Shivani Raghuvanshi didn’t disappoint their fans in their reprised roles. However, it was new addition Mona Singh, who turned out to be a show-stealer as per the reviews on Twitter.
The seven-episode series focuses on the wedding planners Tara Khanna(Sobhita) and Karan Mehra(Arjun) facing financial challenges while continuing to deliver fairy-tale weddings. The show also explores topics of domestic violence and fair skin obsession among others in the garb of modern marriages. After watching the series, one of the Twitter users wrote, “I'm a person who goes to bed at 10.30 every night without fail and is fast asleep by 11. But sleep eludes me tonight as I can't stop watching #MadeInHeaven2. Not because I've to write about it tomorrow but because the show is so damn addictive. Worth the five years of wait.”
“#MadeInHeavenS2 is pretty perfect. it's a major win for trans representation. every single actor is fantastic but mona singh kinda outshines em. it's very dense & layered & emotionally overwhelming. so i'll suggest taking it slow. but yeah, great, relevant stuff overall,” commented another Twitter user. Hailing Mona Singh’s performance, one of the users wrote, “Mona Singh is absolutely " Made in Heaven " for #MadeInHeavenS2 . A perfect blend of Cold , Warm and Smart Auditor that captures the Delhi Woman Vibe so well! SHE'S THE ONLY CHARACTER THAT STANDS out so far till 4 episodes.” Check out more Twitter reactions here before planning to watch the series.
