The much-awaited Marvel series Loki starring Tom Hiddleston will soon be back with the second season. The widely acclaimed series is set to take fans on yet another amusing adventure with lots of twists and turns. In the recently released featurette, Marvel Entertainment offered a glimpse into what to expect from season 2. Loki aka Tom will work together with Mobius(played by Owen Wilson) to locate Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) and correct the timeline distortions to return to his previous timeline in TVA(Time Variance Authority).
Cast and plot
The second season will also see the addition of new characters played by Ke Huy Quan, Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, and Liz Carr. Actors Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Renslayer), Wunmi Mosaku (Hunter B-15), Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong (Miss Minutes), Neil Ellice, and Jonathan Majors will reprise their roles alongside Tom Hiddleston in the series. The upcoming season will have plenty of storylines with Sylvia looking for a new life for herself after multiverse creation. The most powerful villain in the Marvel cinematic universe is on the loose, while Loki explores his exploits in the TVA.

Now, the series will premiere on October 5 at 6 PM Pacific Time. The upcoming season 2 will consist of six episodes.

It was on September 4, 2023, that Marvel Entertainment announced the release date of Loki Season 2 on YouTube. “The past. The present. The future. Marvel Studios’ Loki Season 2, an Original series, streaming October 6 on Disney+,” read the description. The filming of the series commenced in June 2022 and the team wrapped up the post post-production in October last year. Bankrolled under the banner of Marvel Studios, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead directed the series along with Kasra Farahani and Dan Deleeuw.
