Lock Upp: Payal Rohatgi reveals she wanted Sangram Singh to marry someone else because she can't have kids

A day after wrestler Sangram Singh romantically surprising girlfriend Payal Rohatgi on Lock Upp and proposing her in front of all inmates for marriage, the actress has spilled a heart-breaking secret on the show. Payal who was been in a relationship with Sangram for years shared in an emotional moment how she can never have kids.

Talking about her issues with fertility, Payal revealed she has been trying to conceive for the past few years and even tried IVF to have a baby. Payal further added that she had planned to get married only after getting treated for her fertility issues. “I can't have kids. Maine socha hum shaadi tab karenge, when I can get pregnant. So, I have to be fit mentally and physically, concentrate on acting and go on with life. It's okay to not get pregnant. 4-5 saal se hum log try kar rahe hai, nhi ho raha. So now, Sangram has to figure it and I think he has figured it out that I can't get pregnant."

The actress added, "Maine IVF kiya but it was not successful. Isliye main kehti hu kisi aur se shaadi karle- jo bache paida kar sake. Kabhi kabar main aisa bolti hu.”

Payal also recommended women in their 20s to freeze their eggs if they want to have kids in their 30s. She also said that she has finally overcome her thoughts about not marrying Sangram if they can’t have a baby but added that she really doesn’t want the wrestler to not have kids which made her put off the wedding decision.

Sangram Singh entered Lock Upp and surprised Payal promising her, "Yeh Lock Upp khatam kar lo phir hum shaadi karenge.”

Payal is one of the 8 contestants remaining on the show as Lock Upp heads towards it finale in May.
