Lock Upp: Mandana Karimi and Azma Fallah are the latest prisoners of Kangana Ranaut’s jail

Ekta Kapoor’s reality show Lock Upp is currently soaring high because of the masaledaar content that it is offering to the audiences-- may it be Bollywood’s Queen Kangana Ranaut ’s OTT debut as host, weekend episodes when the actress schools the prisoners of her celebrity jail or the fun tasks between the contestants. Well, to make things more interesting, the makers roped in Sara Khan’s ex husband and DJ Ali Merchant along with television’s popular villain Chetan Hansraj. Reports suggested that actresses Rashami Desai and Jasmin Bhasin will also enter the show, but that did not happen.

Well, while Rashami and Jasmin are not a part of the controversial reality show, makers have managed to bring in two new exciting wild card participants-- actress Mandana Karimi and beauty blogger Azma Fallah. For the uninitiated, Mandana was seen in Ekta’s 2016 adult comedy Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 along with Tusshar Kapoor and Aftab Shivdasani . She was also a contestant on the 9th season of Salman Khan ’s reality show Bigg Boss , where she was locked up for 104 days before she emerged as the second runner up.

While Mandana has been charged for being a controversy creator, Azma has been locked up in Kangana’s celebrity jail for charges of ‘fake identity’. In a chat with ETimes before entering the show, Azma shared, “I will be working with ALTBalaji and MX player for the first time with Lock Upp, and I am excited because I think this badass jail needs a girl like me. Munawar Faruqui is my favourite contestant because of how he is playing, whereas Karanvir is awesome. I think my toughest competitor would be Poonam Pandey because she is good but sometimes dangerous.”
